6 TRANSFORMERS FROM DSM PORT TO ARUSHA

  We received 6 transformers off the vessel hook this week and now prepare ourselves for a 1,000 km journey to deliver these to a new substation in Arusha via Singida. A lot of groundwork and preparations are done to ensure the safety of this equipment during discharge as well as laydown areas within the port premises. 2 transformers weigh 163 tons each, arguably amongst the heaviest pieces that have come through TZ. More updates to follow in the coming days. Msingi na maandalizi mengi hufanywa ili kuhakikisha usalama wa vifaa hivi wakati wa kutokwa na maeneo ya kuweka chini ndani ya eneo la bandari. Transfoma 2 zina uzito wa tani 163 kila moja, bila shaka kati ya vipande vizito zaidi ambavyo vimepitia TZ. Sasisho zaidi za kufuata katika siku zijazo.
